2 step Verification Issues
Hi I seem to now have 2-step verification on my emails when logging on via pc/laptop.
The issue is I never set this up! I dont have a saved code and every time I ask for a new code I dont get the text even though the last 3 digist match my phone.
How can this be resolved, I use my email daily and have dont for 18yrs so i need some kind of resolution, can they email a code? or like google show you a code on their open screen?

The way it works after you've set it up, is that a fresh Verification code is automatically sent to your mobile every time you log in.
Are you neing sent, and receiving a Verification code when you try to log in here: https://www.sky.com/signin/email

Has this just started happening, and do you have access to your email via a phone app?
If you do still have access, there should have been a recovery code emailed to when the 2FA was set up.

This is the problem I am not getting a code sent through.
I didnt set this up so dont have the "saved" code either, I tried logging on yesterday and was greeted with this

yes still have access via my phone, I went to log on for work yesterday and all of a sudden theres this verification step - I have no emails for this set up so no codes

As a test I turned on 2FA on one of my accounts, and it showed the recovery code on-line, but no email with the code was sent.😕
No matter I thought, as I had saved the code to the Windows clipboard using the link given, however when I tried to use it whatever it had saved was not the recovery code but gobbledygook, so I was unable to turn it off that way.
So I turned it off using https://accounts.sky.com/modify/mfa/methods as I was getting the codes to my phone, and that worked, so you could try that and hope that is able to send a code to your phone.
If that doesn't work you will have to ask Sky to turn it off, but it may take a while to find someone who knows how to do it.
Edit:
No email was sent saying it had been turned off either, so something has changed as they always used to be sent.
