2 Step verification

 

Does anybody know how to turn off this 2 step verification or change the number behind it.

I don't have a recovery code and Sky have been no help, told to ring Google and Yahoo to have this done?? Sadly my wife set this on our daughter mobile by mistake without me knowing and i have to put a code in everytime I log in on my PC. No issues on my Yahoo app.

When your wife set it up, the recovery code should have been sent to the email she was logged in with at the time, so check there.

Without the recovery code I know of no way to disable it, I'm afraid. I'm not convinced that Yahoo and certainly not Google can do so either.

Apparently no recovery sent, checked all the folders in the emails we have.

It would have been sent. It's an automatic process which is kicked off when you acknowledge on screen that you've seen and noted the recovery code.

Can't somebody at sky turn it off or reset it.

There is no recovery for a lost recovery code. (as far as we know)
