In 2019, a Tweet from @BlossomHacks went viral. It's not hard to see why. If you 're wrapping Sky Q boxes for your family, and find that the piece of paper you've cut is too small to use, rotate your present diagonally. This nifty hack expands the surface area of the paper you're using!

YouTuber Do It On A Dime released a quick and handy video that explains the steps of making origami present pockets. See our simplified steps above. Inside the pocket you've now created, you can slip in an extra small gift, a label or even a card!

The key to making a gift bag lies in how you wrap it. Designer Trapped in a Lawyers Body gets it.

 

  1. Place your parcel in the centre of the wrappings.

  2. Fold both long sides in and secure with tape.

  3. Fold the entire bottom up, and open the base (see above)

  4. Fold the top and bottom in and secure with tape

  5. Pull your parcel out and expand the wrappings.

You should now have a usable gift bag!
