wifi stopped working so i checked it on the app where it also said there may be an issue.. i then checked it near enough 10 times for it to say everything is fine but is still not working.

I had the same! I have a time critical job and the wifi was out for hours at a time yesterday. It's happening too often. Think I'm going a look for another provider

Nothing customers can do but wait until the service comes back up. Just like overnightvroad works it is reality we have to live with.
Only if your service is still down this morning is it worth doing anything but unless the online test tells you Sky are aware of an issue givecyhem a ring and report the fault.
