weak wifi on new laptop

Hi- just receieved a new work laptop and i am struggling with poor wifi signal especially when on teams calls it keeps dropping out. 

I only keep 1 or 2 bars in the wifi bar on the laptop (Windows HP Elitebook). Never had this issue with the older laptop.

If you only get 1 or 2 bars on another laptop then it sounds like the location you are using the WiFi in is poor. Each device has a unique WiFi antenna layout so one laptop may get better signal strength than another in the same location.

To me it sounds like you need a booster.
