sky booster suddenly stopped connecting

i have been using my sky booster for months and suddenly when i came home today the connecting light went dim for no reason at all, i have tried all the steps on sky's forum and have tried countless times to get the connecting light on my booster to show a colour but it still will not work, if anyone knows how to resolve the issue please let me know thank you.
