no Landline

Hi,

we are moving to a new house which has no Landline, what do I need or what alternatives do I have to watch my sky q as with no landline a router is useless?

A main Q box can work for live television without internet access.  Are you saying there just isn't a landline currently, or that you aren't permitted to get one installed?

we aren't permitted to have a Landline installed so no Broadband...could I use wi-fi but how do I get wi-fi and waht speed is acceptable?

WiFi is typically just broadband transmitted from a router on the end of a landline.

If you mean cellular data, Q can work on a 4G or 5G hotspot, and might be viable on 3G.  Obviously you need a monthly data allowance big enough to cope with your own particular downloaded content consumption pattern.
