new booster
ok let my broadband contract expire then took out another contract with faster speed of 300 from 150. i have received a new router and connected today with good connection. i need to return the sky equipment of router and booster. i have tried the wifi with and without the booster and it does not seem to work with the new hub although it looks like it connects ? i was asked when upgrading if i had any dead spots this i said no as i use this booster. so i need a booster ? or maybe a mesh system ? please advise ?

Re: new booster
@toptinker You do not say what you had before, but looking like you need to submit and subscribe to the sky Max, links are below, 14 day wait period before the option to call which you have to do to get and apply for!.
getting sky max and how to get the pod's

Would also not rush into sending all your old equipment back as that may be the preferred items to use especially on a FF300 service!

Re: new booster
@toptinker You are correct the SE210 booster does not appear to work and mesh with the new SR213 Sky max hub that requires you to subscribe to the sky Max, having the hub alone does not mean that you have the addon feature.

Re: new booster
@toptinker No, when you have the call to chat and if you are paying the monthly add on premium for the sky max, they will test your system and determine if you need to get a booster, if that gets approved they will register the new booster to your account and dispatch one to you, booster's are not allowed in the first 14 day's of the Max install as it beds itself in and works out it's operation! You can indeed try calling earlier and see how you get on! Post 2 has the link information all about sky Max coverage/speeds etc!

Re: new booster
@toptinker There is nothing more you could ask for, so get it, set it up and see how it all goes, be carefull with the position and the Max is just SO high up the Freq range it's on the edge off the not so good place to be!

Re: new booster
Cheers I have a mesh system until then this has extended the signal to where I want it to be for now. Ideally I would move the router but with all the wired connections it's impossible. It's behind the tv, not ideal I know but I can do some trials with it sat above and left, right etc . The mesh system is great but it's something I want to use
