jump in broadband cost

my monthly cost is jumping from £35 to £59 .as my 2 yr contract ends. Been with sky 23 years so don't really want to change but it seems a big jump . Is this usual

Yes as your discount is ending you're paying the list price.  You need to either speak to Sky to negotiate a new deal (which likely won't be the same as your current one) or change providers and lock into their new customer deals for 2 years, then go through the same process again once it expires.

Like you I'm a customer here, Sky Employees are clearly identified as such.
