intermittent slow wifi

For the past 2 weeks my wifi has been inetrmittently slow.  When I do a normal speed check on the connection from my hub it is always around the 50Meg mark but when I do the same check on my phone and laptop which are connected via wifi, it is down as low as 1Meg.  30 mins later it is all good and the wifi is back up to 45meg.  I have unplugged the router countless times but it doesnt make any difference.  Very frustrating.

Sorry I was out of the country and was unable to reply to.your posting.  Yes I still have the problem, it's been 4 weeks now.  Yesterday evening my wifi speed was 0.3M, this morning 1st thing it was 51meg and as I write this post, it's gone back to 0.8M.  Irrespective of what is happening with wifi, my main desktop which is a direct connection via my router is maintained at about 50M.
