intermittent broadband today
Why has my Sky Broadband been playing up all day? You never warn us in advance of any local work going on. As it's 1am I doubt that's the issue.
This is happening regularly lately, yet we the customers, who already pay you a good chunk every month for a service you are supposed to provide flawlessly, get absolutely no recompense, apologies or even a small discount on our monthly bill.
You are not providing the 5⭐️ service you agreed to provide.

Re: Telephone number to contact Sky
@NannyNic1 Your not contacting Sky by posting here, they won't reply to you or would even know who you are from a community login.
Your contract with Sky does not include advance notification of any works being carried out. To think it does is naïve at best.
No ISP can give you a guarantee to a 100% uptime or flawless service, again it is naive of you to think they should.
First thing to check is this link to see if there are any outages in your area:
https://www.sky.com/servicechecker
If there isn't try running the line test here:
https://www.sky.com/help/articles/broadband-diagnostic-start
You can also run the test via the MySky app on a mobile data connection.
After this has finished and if it reports back all is good click on broadband to run an updated test. If you get amber or red please follow the on screen instructions.

Please note I only provide help on the main forums and not via PM, PM's are switched off.

Re: Telephone number to contact Sky
I gladly accept the subliminal insult that I'm naive 🤣 I really am.
I just get so angry with so many services we all pay money for yet are supposed to suck up and accept their below standard services.
But genuinely thanks for your advice 😏

Re: Telephone number to contact Sky
@NannyNic1 If you have a connected landline or a sky mobile then dial 150 is by far the easiest method!

Re: Telephone number to contact Sky
@Smegmat1c It's unfortunate but sky blocks all reference for allowing easily a phone number to be put up on the Forum and it can be found via the sky help but not an easy task, if you click on the link below, go to post 4, click and open that, scroll down to call us click once more then a number will appear for you to call.
