fiber upgrade can’t be done
i have tried 3 times to upgrade to fiber each time they walk in say oh there is a home line on the wall so can't do it.
I has been shown to be a completely independent system to my own line.
how do i get this sorted between sky and openreach

@barry+sw if you enter your full address in the following checker and post the table and the first 3 lines of the notes after removing the reference to your address forum members maybe able to help Openreach Checker
What do you mean by a "home line" and who does it belong to?

emergency call line the both say it is available but just can't get them to agree it's not a problem

@barry+sw if the line is tagged as feeding an older emergency care line Openreach cannot install full fibre as that involves switching the voice line from digital which means the Alarm stops working. If the alarm is no longer in use then contact the provider who should release the line. Currently I am not aware of a means of getting full fibre and keeping an analogue line. Modern alarms contain sims so do not need an analogue line.
