Appointment for engineer visit has been cancelled (I think) for October 10th due to openreach strike. Called sky customer services who gave another date of 26th October...too long to wait after already waiting a very long time. But anyway this new appointment isn't showing up when I log in to my sky account, no confirmation of any kind be it text email etc it just shows as 10 october cancelled. Getting panicked now. took a day off work last week to wait for sky who came round to install a tv dish..sent them away as i did not order a dish (all i want is a line for internet) please help anyone how i can get the new date confirmed

Find out more@jot0099 your pist has been escalated to a Sky team who should invite you to a private chat through the forum where a chat button should appear. Most Openreach appointments impacted by strike action are rescheduled automatically so not why a new one was booked in your case however Sky should be able to answer.
However the series of strikes are causing delays and if you are having a fibre line installed those can be long as there are a limited number of qualified teams available to do thst work,
