cancellation fee

My account states that my contract has ended, but the link to 'manage your account' doesn't work. I suspect it's a scam to get me to phone and sit in a queue for hours before I can speak to a human. The chat doesn't help. I want to know:

when did my contract end and why (it's less then 6 months old and I'm still paying for it)?

why has the cost escalated from £25 pm to £39pm?

Is there a fee to cancel the service (given that my contract has apparently ended)?

How much does it cost to have another internet socket installed (in an upstairs room)?

How much does it cost to have a dish activated just to receive freesat?

Any clues?

@AlexRed  Your discounts may have ended, not your contract, to cancel any part of your services you need to cal,l, it's not a scam as you put it.

You can call on 150 from a Sky Talk Line or Sky Mobile.

If you haven't got a current Sky Mobile or Sky Talk this link should help:
(UK) https://www.sky.com/help/home Scroll down and click on ‘Need more help’ and it provides a 0333 number
(ROI) on the same link change the flag in the very bottom corner to the ROI flag to obtain an 0818 number.

Stay on the line and don’t hang up if prompted to. Apparently the quieter times to ring are just after 7am or about 9pm.

Like you I'm a customer here, Sky Employees are clearly identified as such.

Re: cancellation fee

@AlexRed Regarding your dish, it does not cost anything if it was working, you need a compatible sat box and freesat flows with no issues.

Cost almost always increases significantly outside the initial minimum term

Not outside a minimum term (which is typically 18 months in the UK, 12 months in RoI)

Neither Sky nor any other ISP would do that: you'd need to find a local network installer or competent handyperson

How much does it cost to have a dish activated just to receive freesat?

The Sky dish became yours on installation, but note that only a Freesat 4K box will work through a Q LNB: older HD Freesat receivers need the LNB replacing, which you'd have to pay a local installer to do.
