broadband issues

IMG_1297.png

i've had issues with my internet for months, i upgraded my package thinking it improve but it didn't so i phoned up and was told to get a booster hub for downstairs - i explained my open reach box is in the airing cupboard in my bathroom upstairs and i feel this is an issue and would rather it be moved but she said a booster would be fine. so again upgraded paid the extras and it's still awful, phoned last week to complain again and was told open reach will be in contact (still waiting) but now my connection is even worse with the hub booster?!

ive uploaded my stats in hopes of a quicker answer 😂

For staters, give your hub a reboot as its been up for over 47 days, it may need to jump WiFi channels and do some cleanup.

A booster can indeed make the connection worse when its not placed right or not needed in the setup at all.

If your router is in a cupboard it probably needs moving before you can get a decent WiFi signal throughout the house.
