hi
new to sky thought it would be straight forward but my activation date 20/10 has passed and nothings happened.
account just says this:
"Sky Broadband activation
Thursday 20th October
You'll be connected and ready to go soon!
Your services will be switched on remotely by an engineer and could go live anytime up to midnight on your activation day. We'll send you a text to confirm that your services are activated and you can then set up your Sky Hub"
tried help and bot thingy and they dont help.
is it normal to be this late?

Posted by a Superuser, not a Sky employee. Find out moreI'm fairly sure Openreach staff were taking industrial action on Thursday 20th (as they are tomorrow too), so this may have impacted yours and other installations or repairs. Give Sky a call to see if they have had an update from OR.

that would explain it.
I expect sky will give me a new activation date.
did try calling them but it kept saying to busy call back. Probably due to stikes.
