Hello,
My sky router, has been semt to my old address in error, which is around 3 hours drive away. Sky have accepted they made a mistake.
Openreach however, were, booked at my new address, and have installed the line today.
Sky tell me, that they cannot provide another router, until the other one is returned to them. (This is procedure).
Royal mail will not allow redelivery to my new address, as It"s not in the same postal area.
Surely sky can improvise and, send another router. After all it was their error with the delivery address.
I'm pretty desperate for a connection, as I'm a homeworker.
Any advice would be appreciated.
Thank you.

Posted by a Superuser, not a Sky employee. Find out more@PaulW23 raise this as a formal complaint as it is Sky's error that should escalate the matter to a manager who maybe be able to over ride the restriction. See How to make a Sky complaint | Sky Help | Sky.com

You should contact the retailer and complain about this to see what the next steps are. You may be asked to return the items that have been delivered incorrectly to the retailer to resolve the issue. You should not have to pay the delivery costs for returning the incorrect item.
