Wireless continually dropping
Our Sky broadband was installed on the 3rd of October.
The router continually drops the wireless connection to “all” devices and this is rendering working from home and making calls over the internet utterly impossible! Additionally called drop from my mobile when ising wi-fi calling after 20 seconds consistently
We moved from TalkTalk and never had this issue, resultingly our Sky internet has completely hopeless!
Logging into the router and the Sky App I'm unable to change the channel
Please urgently advise?

Re: Wireless continually dropping
@chew_1973 if you have the white Sky hub you cannot manually control channels because the hub controls these dynamically which is now quite common on newer routers.
What happens to the light on the hub when you lose connection? Do you think you have an ssue with interference either from your neighbours' networks or have other equipment using WiFi locally? Have you spoken to Sky as your hub could be faulty if the broadband connection stays connected but WiFi drops?

Re: Wireless continually dropping
thanks for the reply
I chatted to sky last night, they have sent me the wrong router! I should have the 4.2g version for the 500mb fibre I have as the version I have I've been told will not be stable for the connection I have
They are replacing it in the coming days
