Wired connection

I had a complete wired connection via power line. A defective phone line was corrected by an engineer.to the corner behind the TV. He plugged the two Ethernet router ports into theTV and Qbox. I want to wire my upstairs "office" by power line but need more Ethernet ports. There are third party modem routers with several ports or a complicated switching adaptor. Can I use any other router with Sky to provide the wired system I want since TV and Q box are not reliably connected except directly.o

@Braggadocio  Just buy a cheap gigabit switch, nothing complicated about them.

Less complicated than trying to use 2 routers.

Re: Wired connection

Thanks for advice. I meant to replace the Sky router with a more powerful one and multiple Ethernet ports.

@Braggadocio  If you do want to replace the Sky Hib you do need to make sure it is MER (DHCP Option 60/61).

It would be cheaper just to get network switches to expand the ethernet capability.
