Windows Laptop Not Showing WiFi Connection
Hi
A friend of mine has just got new TV & white router model number SR213-O2-UK from Sky.
His TV works fine but the WiFi is not showing up on his laptop.
I've tested his laptop at my home & my WiFi connection is showing up on his laptop.
Everything was fine with his previous router.
Is there some setting on his router that needs changed to allow his WiFi to show up on laptop?
Thanks for any help.

Re: Windows Laptop Not Showing WiFi Connection
@BURKEY54 See the link below, wireless security or disable the 5Ghz band may be two to look at!
Sky Max change settings link.

Re: Windows Laptop Not Showing WiFi Connection
He likes to use laptop downstairs & router is upstairs.
Previously with another ISP, and that worked fine.
His laptop picked up my network fine, laptop was upstairs and router downstairs
Im with different ISP, have this account as set up Sky broadband for my son.
Def an issue with router somehow.
We turned off 5ghz option changed WPA settings and nothing helped.
Very frustrating.
I had considered switching to Sky as contract with current ISP nearly up.
Not so sure now as I WFH a lot...
