Wii fi

My daughter works from home , only one using Wii fii, in the lounge maybe 12 ft away from the router , the connection constantly freezing, not loading etc, upstairs we often have to use our 5g to use the internet, cuts out freezes no connection, we are supposed to have an all singing and dancing connection but it's extremely poor, 

please help
