Wifi

Checks show my WiFi is working, yet my mobile does not pick up WiFi even though it's on. I've had messages within days that my data has run out within days of rolling back. 2 g each time. You will see I'm not excessively using more data, and I think it's because I've not noticed it's not gone onto WiFi when I'm at home.
I hadn't noticed just now, only because I've received another message saying I've run out of data again.
My phone currently is showing 5G and no WiFi, even though  my hub showing 3 green lights.
I think this is where I'm using up my data.
can you help.
Marlene.

Does your phone pickup the WiFi signal anywhere in your home? Or is it just one specific area it drops off?

Re: Wifi

Hi.
It's very hit and miss. Sometimes I'll look at my phone and it's fine, other times there is no WiFi, and notice it by accident; but by then I don't know how long I've not accessed WiFi.
This can happen when I'm downstairs next to the hub, or upstairs in front of the sky box in the bedroom.
I've also noticed that the WiFi periodically drops off on other devices like my ring doorbell chime.
I don't get what's happening really. However checks on connection and speed suggest things are fine, which is not the case. 🙋🏾‍♀️

Re: Wifi

I'm having the same issue.  I have an Engineer coming out as when I spoke to Sky help they ran all the checks and they are not sure why it is doing it.

Re: Wifi

Hi there.
oh ok. Looks like I may need to follow the same actions as you. It's a relief to know it's not just isolated to me.
Thanks for letting me know. 🙋🏾‍♀️
