Why does the service checker say my wifi is working when it has been buffering for the last 15 mins and no channels will work

@Lauren80 the checker results are mainly about line issues if your device is losing connection then the issue is likely to be the wifi signal in your home. Wifi issues are very common Sky offer these tips Sky Help - Slow wifi
