Wifi test

Done a wifi test and all devices are saying good apart from the devices in my sons room his tv and also his amazon stick, when we are trying to use the amazon stick which is brand new it just keeps saying no signal.. just had a new wifi hub sent out from sky as the last one was doing the same thing thought this may have helped but no luck

@MillieMoo21 poor wifi signal in one room is likely to be down to the layout and type of construction in your home rather than issues with either the devices like Firesticks or indeed the Sky hub. You can try oprimising the signal the hub can deliver by placing the hub out in the open on a surface. Above things like radiators that block signals.

However it is likely you msy need more equipment to get decent wifi in your son's room. A simple booster might work Sky will supply one if you buy the Broadband Boost bundle and ask for one. However boosters are not the best solution. You could get a whole home wifi solution like Sky's Wifi. Max which can have multiole satellite units giving reasonable speeds in every room. There is another solution where a single area of the home has an issue that is to buy a powerline adapter kit thst uses the mains wiring to get signal to a distant room and can come with a built-in WiFi access point.
