Wifi speed issue
Will assigning devices to different bands (2GHz & 5GHz) on my home wifi impact the effectiveness of my sky wifi boosters?

Re: Wifi speed issue
@Dave324 if you have a black Sky hub then you can split the wavebands and the bboosters should copy the same set up. Many people do this and put older and slower devices on tge 2.4GHz band leaving the 5GHz band for laptops etc however that ignores the fact that the 5GHz band has less range than the 2.4GHz band. Personally I found the best results was by leaving them combined YMMV
You cannot split bands onntge white Sky Max hub and many other modern routers as WiFi6 requires the two bands synchronised.
