Wifi max pod - enabling wifi band.

Hi all,

I've been ''Playing around'' with my sky max pods - repositioning them to find the best place and also been checking some settings like wifi bands. I had my laptop connected to the pod via ethernet cable for more stable connection as my laptop won't connect to the pod via WIFI. Problem was that I didn’t want any other devices to connect to this pod so I've been testing settings like - disabling some wifi bands over the mysky app.

Problem now is that I can't get the pod to connect back to the hub as I believe WIFI bands are still off. Ive tried to connect the pod via ethernet cable to the HUB, it puts pod online and gives me access to the band settings on mysky app, but over there its automatically enables wifi bands even though it's still not working. On the pod white light is flashing like its looking for connection.

I've also tried adding device manually through the hub settings, and re-setting the hub, but still no joy.

I had engineer visiting and checking the problem, but he couldn't find the solution for the problem. So, I was wondering maybe someone here can help?

Thanks in advance.

@Micits the Wifi Max pods are not designed to be customer confgurable and dont have a reset button. I found when I had Wifi max that the pods could lose connection with the hub so I simply plugged them in near the hub and left them and found they often reconnected. A power down reboot of the hub might help. If stuck call Sky and get tge unit swapped out

You normally cannot control which devices conect to each unit in mesh configurations as you were trying to do. The system should route dynamically and from using various systems I found leaving them to do their own thing works best. I returned the Wifi Max as it was no faster than my own Deco system and at tgat point far more unstable.
