Wifi is down

We have had issues with our sky hub over the last week or so.

It would work for anlittle while then our connection will drop randomly.

I have reset it quite a few dozen times until it work for a temporary amount of time.

Today at around 19:00 it dropped yet again but this time it's not reseting properly. The WiFi indicator is off and the Internet indicator is constantly shining in red.

I've tried all I can do being a PC nerd but I believe I can't fix this issue and that our sky hub might require a servicing.

please contact us at your earliest convenience as we don't have access to our WiFi at the moment and from what it looks like for the rest of the day..

Best regards,

Pavlina

No one will contact you. You aren’t contacting Sky Customer Services here. This is a customer led discussion forum where Sky customers are available to try to help other customers.

If your broadband isn’t working and you haven’t done it yet use this link to check to see if there are any broadband problems or outages nearby.
https://www.sky.com/servicechecker
This should determine if there's an identified fault, perhaps affecting multiple households.

If there aren't any then try running the line test here
https://www.sky.com/help/articles/broadband-diagnostic-start
You can also run the test via the MySky app on a mobile data connection.

Once completed, if it reports back that all is good click on 'broadband' to run an updated test. If you get amber or red you need to follow the on-screen instructions.

If you’re still having problems you may need to contact Sky to report it. The easiest way is to dial 150 free from your Sky Talk landline if it’s still working.

This link providers information about the coloured lights on the various hubs

Sky broadband being discussed here is a domestic service and whilst it's fine for those customers working from home to use it, they won't receive additional or quicker support.
