Wifi intermittent

Hiya, our WiFi goes down all the time and so sky Q cuts off on two of our TV. There always seems to be a WiFi signal but no internet. It comes back again but goes multiple times a day. I had a look at the phone like that enters the property. Most houses have a TV box but ours looks like an old box that hasn't been touched in 40 years. Is there anyway to run some tests on our line please?
