Wifi extender not working

I have just set up a new Broadband connection with SKY         I was previously with V4           i have a large house and I have a wifi extender to to get covergae in my upstairs rooms               I have tried holding down the WPS button on the Hub and also on the Wifi extender  and the lights flashed but i dont have an internet connection in my upstairs rooms and I cant see a separate WIFI ( Ext ) connection but ther is another SKY wifi connection with a very storng signal        when i try the password for the Hub on this connection it says " the network is temporarily unavailable    try again later"

Can you help me get my extender connected to the internet

Can you also tell me the new phone number allocated to my new Sky Broadband connection

@jamesc574 if as is likely you have a white Sky hub you cannot use old Sky boosters as they sre not compatable. Sky offer matched extendervpods as part of their WiFi Max bundle (see https://www.sky.com/help/articles/sky-wifi-max) 

The easiest way to find the number of your new line is to connect a phone and call your mobile.
