Wifi booster
We are having connection issues with the WiFi upstairs in our property despite tests saying connectivity is fine...
when my children are playing on their devices it keeps dropping out on them or lagging.
my son is struggling to get a connection on his laptop to do his homework upstairs too.
we live in a bungalow and only two bedrooms upstairs so not a mansion. But signal just doesn't seem to be reaching upstairs for some reason.
please help!
thank you

Re: Wifi booster
@SpeersP wifi signals lose power every time tgey pass through a so,id object like a wall and are blocked bybany metal in the path. Like most routers Sky hubs have aerials arranged to maximise signals horizontally. Apart from ensuring the hub is in the best possible position which is as centrally as possible out in the open on a surface so it is above obstructions like radiators there is not much more you can do without spending some money. If your property has solid internal walls you can hit issues in quite small homes bunglalows included.
Sky will sell you an add-on like their WiFi Max package which can give you up to 3 extender units if required to 10Mb/s in every room rising to 25Mb/s if you buy an Ultrafast full fibre service. You can also buy your own whole home wifi system which can work out cheaper in the long run.
65inch Sky Glass, 3 Sky Streaming Pucks, Sky Ultrafast + and Sky SR213(white Wifi Max hub) main Wifi from 3 TP-Link Deco M4 units in access point mode
