Wifi booster

Hi I recently got sky broadband gigafast, but my sons room keeps dropping off. Mainly for his computer. His room is the extension but his computer is right near the door. His brother in the next room has no issues. 

Looking at what to do, booster etc. Please bear in mind am not overly technical at all and no idea how to wire the box up to his room. 

Any suggestions?
