Wifi Slow, Internet Fast

I have up to 900mb/s Internet speed and fast broadband but I am only receiving around 200 mb/s WiFi speed on my mobile phone and laptop with a speed test via Ookla and others. I am sitting next to the router. 

Ethernet speed test to PC is much faster obviously. 

Why is the WiFi so slow? Cheers

200mbps over WiFi isnt slow, this speed is more than enough to cope with any modern day task. The idea of a high speed FTTP connection is to provide many WiFi clients with a good download speed, not for a single WiFi device to be able to run a speedtest at 900mbps.

Sky only quote 25mbps in each room as part of their WiFi guarantee so you are way over that.
