WiFi

WiFi keeps dipping, trouble connecting to tv and internet. Connects and loses connection within  minutes and requires waiting for re-connection.   Router is more than 10 + years old. Could this be the cause.  it is so disruptive and irritating.

Try running the line test here to see if any faults are found:
https://www.sky.com/help/articles/broadband-diagnostic-start


You can also run the test via the MySky app on a mobile data connection.


After this has finished and if it reports back all is good click on broadband to run an updated test. If you get amber or red please follow the on screen instructions.


If this is of no help give Sky a call to report it to them.

@Wendy-Clubbe62 Trying to establish if you have the older Sky Q or the Sky Hub as both are heading to obselete status come Dec2025 for security reason's and sky in the midst off a change out program with those two units!
