we've recently been connected to sky fibre package, changed hub but WiFi name and password are the same as the old one. Should this be the case?

If you have Sky Q or boosters that you kept then yes the name of your network can stay the same as these devices remember it.

It could also be a 3rd party booster thats holding the name of your old hub.
