Our wifi keeps pretending to connect then dropping out. Sky says there is no issue in our area but even restarting the hub doesn't work. It says it's working but won't connect to tv, phones or consoles.

The wording is misleading: it means there's no known outage affecting multiple addresses, but absolutely doesn't rule out a failure in the individual circuit to your property (which is most likely what has happened)
