The online checker looks for issues in your area so if it has an issue with your line only it will not show this so instead try running this line test:

https://www.sky.com/help/articles/broadband-diagnostic-start

You can also run the test via the MySky app on a mobile data connection.

After this has finished and if it reports back all is good click on broadband to run an updated test. If you get amber or red please follow the on screen instructions.

Re: WiFi keeps going off

Same thing been happening to me last few days, drops out and comes back 5-10 times a day for the last few days. Tried all the trouble shooting and rebooting hub and devices. Really annoying as I no longer have a dish or Ariel so all IPTV.

Exactly the same in LE10 postcode. Checker says it's all fine, but neighbours all off as well. Openreach not coming to look at it until Friday!!!! No internet or TV as we moved to Sky glass. It's a disaster. It's not as if I could pull in my old Satellite cables as the Sky Glass has no connections for them. Pretty rubbish and p'd off

Re: WiFi keeps going off

Apparently, it kept going off as they are getting rid of the current broadband services in my area. she updated it for me on the phone, but told me that the broadband i pay for now, will be gone in the next 1-2 months. I need to upgrade to a new fibre they are offering.

My contract ends in October, but she said i must take out a new 24 month contract if I want the Fibre. If i dont take out a new contract, part of my services that im signed up for, will no longer be availble to me??? she was very vague with the answer to this. it seems a bit of a con. Has anyone else had this issue?

Presumably a reference to the end of analogue voice calls (PSTN) which is scheduled for January 2027.  In some areas Sky needs to migrate customers to FTTP before then because they cannot offer VoIP over FTTC.

Re: WiFi keeps going off

Yes, I think you're right. (even though those terms all  went over my head - i didnt understand what they meant - but I will look them up now.) My issue was that my current contract ends in October, which they're saying they can't offer me any internet unless i take out a new contract for another 24 months for the Fibre.

So if I don't want a new contract with them, what would happen to my internet? They would just remove it, even though I'm in contract until October?

Re: WiFi keeps going off

Yes, l was corned with being provided information and told that if l was not happy within the cooling off period l can cancel and go back to my plan but thats not the case. They force you to chamge your wifi and you are done. Wifi max  made my imternt connection worse and sky are refusing to send the engineer as their system tells them that everything is working . I have takem screensh

ot as evidence and they dont care. Watch out your bill if you ever decide as it will be sky high than excepted including mid way contract charges.
