WiFi keeps cutting off

Hi, so basically my WiFi keeps cutting off randomly throughout the day.

 

The WiFi itself is slow but I can deal with that but the issue is it cuts off about twice a day for no apparent reason and this wouldnt be an issue but I've recently started a new work from home job for d&g selling sky protect insurance and when I'm talking to a customer and the WiFi suddenly drops the call disconnects and the customer obviously hangs up.

 

It used to only happen once a month but recently it's minimum twice a day.

 

I've ran the tests throught the app and it says everything is working fine and I've moved the router to different areas aswell as disconnecting devices from the WiFi and nothing works. I also have a booster which doesn't help since the issue being the WiFi cutting off not having trouble connecting from other rooms.

 

If anyone can help that would be awesome as it's effecting my work now and I'm tired of it.

@Jordan0126  Did Sky give you that booster with the new white router or did you have that from before?

I purchased it myself from Currys but the issue isn't with the WiFi not reaching all the rooms. It's that it keeps dropping/cutting out regardless of the room you're in.

@Jordan0126  Does the light on the front of the router change colour when this is happening?

 

You did run the service checker and broadband test when this is happening or does it just reconnect after dropping out?

Sometimes it remains white (which means it's all good and working which it clearly isn't) and other times it flashes green. And as for running the test/checkers if I do it when the WiFi has dropped it says couldn't connect to WiFi here's some tips (or something like that) but doesn't state there's a specific issue.

And sorry yes it automatically reconnects after a few minutes but might happen again straight after if I don't manually reset it in which case it's stable for a few hours

@Jordan0126  See when you run the check within the service checker do you run the Wi-Fi check or the broadband check?

Seems lot's of people are having this issue, it usually happens once or twice a day but the last few weeks it's happening 10-12 usually when trying to watch something. It's a nightmare with the sky stream. Anyone any suggestions apart from sucking it up until my contract runs out.
