WiFi in my home is worse than before I changed to the new system

Downstairs right by the WiFi box our TV was buffering last night whilst trying to watch BBC iPlayer. My son currently in his bedroom only has 2mbps upload speed and he has one of your booster boxes upstairs.. Your speed checker is a con and tells lies. We have used independent checkers and the past week have not got anymore than 50mbps maximum. I am not happy with my service at all.
