WiFi dropping out

our WiFi has been dropping out for the past few months, it's also denying access to devices trying to connect to the router, it's becoming a joke, I believe it's a faulty router altho we do still have the old 1 from our last contract. I have tried everything to troubleshoot it, sometimes doing a full reset works but not all the time.
