I'm similarly skeptical. This won't be a hardware issue - it will be a config or software issue somewhere.
I suspect my new hardware won't fix it.
anyways....nearly 4 hours of troubleshooting and I'm a bit broken by it. When this is over I am going to complain to the ombudsman.

That's almost 3 weeks after the new wifi box is installed.
All was working fine and slowly but surely my devices started disconnecting and refusing to reconnect.
There is something fundamentally broken with these boxes.
I've spent too much time diagnosising this for Sky. Time to find another provider.
