WiFi connection signal low

Hi. I have issues with WIFI connection where the signal is either very low when it used to be consistently strong. I noticed this when I moved from sky a to sky glass and used WIFI to connect my TV. I have since had to move to a wired connection for the TV as the WIFI kept dropping out. The TV is 2m from the Sky router with no doors or walls in between. Since moving to wired connection for th TV I have no issues but I now monitor and notice my devices and connections to WIFI and I have low signal issues.
