WiFi and sky gigafast

Had nothing but trouble since switching from bt total WiFi to sky. I have had 3 engineer visits and today it still kept cutting out and when you work from home and lose connections in meetings it's frustrating to say the least. Got the latest hub, two sky pods and a booster. When the broadband light (the middle one) on booster goes off the pods start flashing and we lose WiFi. Constantly reconnecting mini boxes too. Any ideas

@Adz1892 it sounds like have inpractice two separate networks the white Sky hub and two pod extenders which orovide WiFi to your devicescand the main Sky Q box. The second network connects the main Sky Q box to the Q minis and any Q booster you may have. As with the BT router you cannot normally connectvthe Q minis oracQ booster to the whitecSky hub by WiFi.

The hub and two boosters should cover your property if installed with the pods placed halfway between the hub and where you need the boost if they are not providing coverage talk to Sky as a third pod is possible. Confusingly despite being a Sky hub the new hubs are incompatable with Sky Q and the Q boxescdomnot act as  WiFi hotspots and their closed WiFi netwoork can interfere with the Sky hub's wifi especially if you have multiple. Q boxes as each Q box usesca different 2.4GHz channel and cannot be directly controlled. Onecsolution is to connect the Q minis by Ethernet to the nearest pod and turn off their WiFi.

ifvall, this sounds like double Dutch call Sky to get one of their broadband enginerrs back.

Re: WiFi and sky gigafast

Had 4 engineer visits and WiFi still disconnects - impossible to work from home now and when I try and cancel I get passed back and forth between the technical team and loyalty team
