WiFi Pod not working

I am having trouble getting WiFi throughout house. I have sky max WiFi with a whole house guarantee. They sent a pod which didn't work, so they have provided a 2nd pod.

 

Pod 2 light is going out which is good but still not good enough WiFi.

 

i have tried running an Ethernet to Pod 1 (running directly from sky max router) but pod 1 is not even showing as connected with the Ethernet in and light staying on. No wifi near it.

 

any ideas?
