WiFi/Broaband issues

In the last 24 hours my WiFi is very intermittent on both my phone apps/webpages and also my SkyQ box apps such as bbc iPlayer. Where I'm watching things and will get the loading circle and then the app disconnects and kicks me out 

 

when I run health checks on the my sky app it says everything is working ok but it clearly isn't 

 

my sky box is connected to my router via an Ethernet cable too 

 

when I run a signal test on an app I have to says I have a download speed of 487mbps and upload of 78mbps

 

but of course this app works when the router is on/working and before it drops out again 

 

I have done the usual manual restarts and still no change 

 

any ideas?
