Wi-Fi weak

When watching through the app on the tv the programme pauses and the wheel is going round and round to gain connection 

it happens intermittently whilst watching in bbc iPlayer and itvx

On what device are you watching? A smart TV, set top box or streaming stick? Do any other devices have issues with the connection?

Sounds like it could be the device then, what Smart TV is it? How far from the hub is it located?

It is a Phillips ambilight Smart 4K ultra hd

it is close to the hub in the next room
