Wi-Fi keeps dropping out
Hi Sky,
Why does the WiFi keep dropping out on our phones? We are through the 10 day stabilization period when switching to Sky. Did not have this issue with previous provider BT or when using WiFi in other locations. Please advise.

Sorry @PaulB72 but you are not talking to Sky here as we are customers who help each other.
Is this happen in every room in your home or in certain ones ?
If you are on a FTTP line (fibre) there is no 10 day stabilization period.

Ahh ok, thanks
It is a fiber connection and the dropping out happens in every room pretty frequently. Tried resetting, forgetting the network on phones and re-joining and switching off WiFi assist to no avail. Any other ideas?

Hi, just run a test, it's between 40-60 mbs apparently. Speeds to the hub in the high 800's.
It was better with BT and didn't drop out at all! Can tell you that much. Hub was in the same place too, centrally located and free of clutter.
is there a sky number I can phone to get a replacement hub or an engineer round? I really appreciate your help but honestly just need this fixing.

@PaulB72 If you have a phone plugged into the hub call 150 or you can call any of Sky's customer service numbers starting 03. Sky will sell you a package called WiFi Max which can supply up to 3 extenders. You are not alone in finding that BT/EE hubs have better WiFi than Sky's hubs.
