Wi-Fi issues

Hi,

every time I take my phone or iPad upstairs, the only way to connect to Wi-Fi is by disconnecting Wi-Fi then turning back on, once it's connected it stays connected, Wi-Fi speed upstairs as as fast as downstairs, it's just the annoying need to turn off then back on.

anyone have any ideas please?

thanks.

@nickykane  Are you having to turn off the device or are you saying you have to turn off the router to get it to work?

@Highlinder

I think the Wi-Fi on the device(s) is being turned off then on again, then the device(s) connect to the Wi-Fi.

@nickykane - do you have any boosters, AP's or a Mesh system in place?
