@Da31 the extender needs to be placed halfwat between the hub and where you need the boist typically to give coverage for a floor that is eithervon the upstairs landing or at the bottom of the stairs. The lights on the extenfdercwill show if it is connected on the newest Expandercpods the light is out when it is connected simply unplug it and then plug it back in the lights will show different colurs untilmit connects fully and then go out. Older hubs show a red lightvwhen disconnected.
