Wi-Fi / broadband dropping out

Hello - my internet connection is dropping out intermittently. Only for a few seconds ie symptoms are when browsing looses website or safari stops working. By the time I run the service checker broadband and Wi-Fi are good. Can't seem to catch it to know where the problem lies. Any ideas ?
