I just activated my sky broadband after switching from BT. When I did a speed check with BT yesterday it was 137mbps but now only 23 mbps with Sky. I am on 300 package. Is it normally slow to start with?
@Sophie_G What hub do you have with the new sky install switch, how are you speed testing, wireless wi-fi or Ethernet, and if so can you do an Ethernet speed test to get a baseline off what the system "can / is" capable off.
It's the Sky Broadband Hub. I did a broadband speed check with BT wi-fi using my desktop before i switched over and then the same test with Sky. Just did it again now and now it's 119mbs so it is getting better over time. I'll give the ethernet test a go later. Thanks for your help.
